Revolt is a high-velocity investigation into ancestral memory and the internal architecture of resistance. The work was produced through a process of kinetic urgency, where the act of mark-making shifted from a graceful application to a visceral, almost involuntary, confrontation with the canvas. This "attack" on the substrate mirrors the turbulent nature of the subject matter, embedding the physical energy of the artist directly into the cool-toned atmospheric layers of the visage.
