Chameleon’s Lament

Chameleon's Lament is a solo exhibition of new monumental mixed media works by Daniel Montoute. Through themes of visibility, adaptation, and belonging, the exhibition explores how individuals navigate social and civic systems that often render them unseen. Drawing upon housing insecurity, displacement, and resilience as points of inquiry, the work invites deeper consideration of dignity, identity, and the human experience.
Rōstrum / Rōstrum Reframed (2024 - 2025)
A series of large scale avian paintings first exhibited in 2024 at Pendleton Arts Block and The Arts Asylum. The project evolves in late 2025 with Rōstrum Reframed, a one night pop up installation and strategic experiment in direct to collector sales within a nontraditional wellness space.
